Sun 5 Jun 2011

On Sunday 5th June, hear two high-profile acts: ARIA award-winner Kavisha Mazzella and Bronwyn Calcutt’s choir, Shaking the Tree. They will be supported by Dandenong Ranges a cappella group, Vokallista, in a benefit concert for Oxfam Australia.

Kavisha's liquid gold voice sings of love, sex, death and social justice. This year she was awarded an AM for services to multiculturalism. She will include songs from her new award-winning album from the National folk Festival: Love and Sorrow.

Bronwyn Calcutt, cabaret singer and leader of Northcote-based choir Shaking the Tree, sing cabaret, gypsy, gospel, folk & funk.

Barb McFarlane’s strong, emerging Vokallista choir completes the line-up.
