Dance the night away at Soul-A-Go-Go with Bernadette Novembre!

Featuring PBS DJs, Vince Peach (Soul Time), Miss Goldie (Boss Action) and Pierre Baroni (Soulgroove '66).

Plus special guests Coco Brown and DJ Lady Soul, and a live set from Melbourne’s new voice of soul, Bernadette Novembre.

Hot off the heels of Bernadette Novembre’s debut EP Launch, Bernadette and her 8 piece band join Soul A Go Go for one huge show. This is soul like you’ve never heard it before. Bernadette’s music infuses blues with 1960’s rock, indie beats and unique and punchy horn lines. Her music is influenced by Amy Winehouse, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, The Kinks, The Beatles, The Supremes and more. The band have played at venues all over Australia including Cherry Bar, The Night Cat, Bird’s Basement, The Evelyn, Bar Open, Open Studio, FAD Gallery, just to name a few.

Having had her start on the stage at just 6 years old, Bernadette toured Australia and Europe with international artists. Growing up she listened to her Mother’s 1950’s - 1970’s vinyl collection which has greatly influenced her own songwriting. Last year she began to collaborate with world renowned Producer and Songwriter Ryan Ritchie (Mushroom Music) and her debut EP ‘Rebounding’ was born. She has had radio play and support by Vince Peach, Miss Goldie and Ethan Manchild (PBS), John Bailey and Chris Gill (Triple R) and Nkechi Nyere (Triple J). Her EP has been sweeping the nation and has also gained an international following.

The live band consists of some of the most sought after musicians in Australia and the music arranged by the amazing Sam Boon (Saskwatch, Fulton Street, Guy Sebastian) and Travis Woods (Horns of Leroy).

$10 for members and $15 for future members.
