The 70’s was a pivotal moment for music, birthing genres like funk, glam rock, disco, and punk. Don’t forget cool cats, wearing groovy flares, driving in their Sandman panel vans. The end of Vietnam War, the Afro in all its glory. TV providing a kaleidoscope of colour, and of course our beloved Acca Dacca, and Molly introducing us to so many others! Can you dig?

The Lo/Jo Jive Festival will be celebrating the historical significance of the 70’s era. The festival will celebrate through music, merchandise, fashion, local food, art and films devoted to this era. The local community is encouraged to participate and be involved in the festivities.

Hip to the groove at the iconic Tote Hotel and get a good dose of soul and funk from Kylie Auldist, Cookin on 3 Burners performing with Stella Angelico and Fulton Street. Or splurge at the Barter Town Market on some out of this world knick knacks, records and new digs.

Get your rock’n’roll fix at The Bendigo Hotel, who will be featuring Two Headed Dog, Prehistoric Douche and Redro Redriguez and His Inner Demons. The Bendigo will also be hosting a market dedicated to all things vintage, music and official festival merchandise.
