Victorian artists and bands of avant-garde, blues, country, electronic, experimental, folk, funk, global, gospel, heavy, hip hop, indigenous, jazz, pop, reggae, rock, roots and soul music are now being invited to nominate themselves, or another artist, for The Age Music Victoria Genre Awards 2016. Nominations close on 31st August, after which an industry panel of experts, specific to each category, will determine the final nominees. Winners will be announced at the Awards on Wednesday 16 November with live performances by from Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Camp Cope and Tash Sultana.
