Trying to get on the PBS airwaves?
All music submissions should be directed to the PBS Music Department on CD or vinyl:
PO Box 2917
Fitzroy MDC, 3065
Alternatively, you can hand over music in person at the Reception desk:
PBS 106.7FM Studios
47 Easey Street
We recommend 4-5 copies of each release.
Please attach a one page press release/bio to each CD. The Music Department will allocate the copies submitted to the most appropriate shows for airplay consideration. If you already know who will dig your stuff, supply a list of presenters that you’d like your CDs to go to. Remember – PBS announcers decide what they play on their programs!
You can email a link to digital files (Google Drive or Dropbox preferred) to email@example.com or directly to the presenters – their email addresses are on the PBS website on their show pages. However we highly recommend physical copies at this point in time. We play CD and vinyl in the PBS Studios. Please note PBS receives many new releases each day and is not able to provide feedback about individual tracks or albums. Please DO NOT send mp3/WAV files as attachments to your email.
After an interview or Studio 5 Live Set?
Please email interview requests to: firstname.lastname@example.org
The Music Department will circulate the interview availability to our announcers, targeting those that have received your music. If any of these announcers are keen to cover the interview, then we’ll be in touch to set up a time.
Studio 5 requests should be sent to email@example.com – please be aware that Studio 5 bookings are very competitive, and often booked up several months in advance. So get in early!
