City Slang's been on PBS for almost 22 years now & is presented by me, Kim Walvisch. I like to play a bit of everything, but have a particular penchant for southern swampy soul, psychedelic funk, frenzied garage, eccentric (& often morose) singer-songwriters, deranged country, a little bit of krautrock & swaggering rock n roll.....
I'm also a big fan of songs about chickens, so please feel free to shoot through any poultry tune suggestions!
