With most recent HTML5 browsers, you no longer need the Adobe Flash Player to play the live streams or archived PBS audio, but just in case you do ...
- Install or update Adobe Flash Player
- Remove Flash. Get the Uninstaller from Adobe Mac OS | Windows
IMPORTANT: you may need to give Flash permission to access PBS audio in your web browser. Click where the audio player should be, and respond to the pop-up.
Apps for Mobile devices

- The free PBS Radio iPhone™ app includes live streaming, schedule information, reminders & social networking (up to iOS10 only. We are working on getting an update for iOS11.)

How much data?
- Low bandwidth AAC+ (dial-up, slow mobile internet) - 12MB per hour
- High bandwidth AAC or MP3 (ADSL, cable, NBN, mobile 3G/4G) - 29MB per hour
Who can access PBS audio?
LIVE STREAM & AUDIO ARCHIVE
- There are no restrictions and everyone can listen to the best quality stream available (currently 64k AAC).
- Data rates may be increased to 128k in future, delivering superb quality with AAC, however this may be restricted to PBS Members only.
